Mezhyhirya
The Mezhyhirya National Park and Museum of Corruption, formerly a secret facility where the secretaries of Soviet Ukraine lived, as well as the former residence of ex-President Yanukovych (the one that has escaped after Revolution of dignity) is situated in 20 km distance from Kyiv in the village of Novi Petrivtsi (Vyshgorod district, Kyiv region). It is one of major must-visit Ukrainian attractions. It takes at list half-day to see 140 hectares territory of Mezhyhiya with its beautuful landscaping, zoo, buildings of fitness and welness center and club house Honka that amazes with its luxury, artificial lakes, a private helipad and a garage with retro cars are not a complete list of Mezhyhirya attractions.
Park "Kyivan Rus"
The amusement park and the center of history and culture of Kyivan Rus is located in the Obukhov district of the Kyiv region. Here are reproduced samples of medieval urban planning within the Kyiv stronghold, occupying about 10 hectares. The wooden fortress wall, the defensive rampart, palaces, tiltyards, camps of nomads and many other things reflect the life of the ancient Kyivites. Festivals and competitions in historical surroundings are held annually in the park. Besides, ethno-fashion shows and historical master-classes, equestrian competitions are held there, and medieval combats are organized.
Landscape alley
It is a park and recreation area, it makes possible to observe Podil and Dnipro riever from the height of the Upper City defense walls, and it gives opportunaty to make cute photos with the wonderful inhabitants of the park – a charming centipede-cat, a rabbit-bench or an elephant-fountain. Funny sculptures cheer up and are pleasing to the eye.
